The ski area of the Wilder Kaiser offers around 300 km of slopes. Westendorf is part of one of the largest and most modern ski areas in the world: Skiwelt. The ski area is not only extensive but also offers a diverse range of slopes and modern lift and snowmaking facilities. That’s why Skiwelt has been chosen as the best ski area in the world. Additionally, due to its favorable climatic location on the main ridge of the Alps, the area is absolutely snow-sure. With the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser ski pass, the entire ski area is accessible. The ski area is suitable not only for families with children but also for avid winter sports enthusiasts.

Westendorf in Summer

In the summer, Westendorf is also an ideal destination for an active holiday in Austria. In the Kitzbühel Alps, you will find a wide range of activities for your vacation. Various hiking trails and mountain bike routes are all available here. There are also numerous cycling routes (including e-bikes) in Westendorf for plenty of relaxation and fun. Our complex has a fantastic location, right in the center of Westendorf and only about 300 meters walk from the chairlift. From the chairlift, you can ski directly to the gondola, allowing you to quickly enjoy the beautiful slopes.

Want to go directly to the gondola? It’s just a 3-minute drive by car. Additionally, there is a convenient ski bus, with the stop located opposite the Billa supermarket, just a minute’s walk from Residenz Illyrica. This way, you can reach the gondola in various ways, tailored to your preferences and needs.

The Billa supermarket is almost next to our complex, about 250 meters away. Furthermore, the Spar is diagonally opposite our complex, just about 50 meters away.

For ski rental and bike rental, you can visit Sport2000 in Westendorf. Thanks to our good cooperation with Sport2000, they offer a wide range of equipment.

In the center of Westendorf, you will find a variety of cozy restaurants, boutiques, and bars. If you want to spend a day shopping, the picturesque town of Kitzbühel is about 20 minutes away from our complex.
